Payout Policy

At a glance: Platform Fee is 4.5% of the total COD amount of a delivered order. Payout cycles run weekly, Friday to Friday. A minimum balance of AED 190 must be reached before a payout is released; amounts below this carry forward to the next cycle. Delivery and return charges are shown per country on the Platform.

1. Settlement Flow

Verified Suppliers collect COD directly from customers and settle eligible amounts with GulfCOD. After settlement is received, GulfCOD deducts its Platform Fee and applicable charges, and processes the remaining payout to the Seller. GulfCOD does not collect COD from end customers; payouts are contingent on Supplier settlement.

2. Eligibility

An order becomes payout-eligible only after it is successfully delivered, the COD amount is settled by the Supplier to GulfCOD, and any verification or return window has passed. Cancelled, undelivered, returned, or disputed orders are not payout-eligible.

3. Schedule

Payouts are processed on a weekly cycle (Friday to Friday) for all eligible orders, subject to banking timelines, the minimum payout threshold, and accurate payout details. Cross-border transfers may take additional time and may attract bank charges, which are borne by the Seller unless stated otherwise.

4. Accurate Details

Sellers are solely responsible for providing correct bank/payout details on the Platform. GulfCOD is not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated details.

5. Deductions

GulfCOD may deduct: the Platform Fee, agreed charges (such as delivery/return charges displayed on the Platform), amounts related to returns, refunds, or chargebacks, penalties for policy violations, and amounts required by law.

6. Withholding & Investigation

GulfCOD may withhold or delay payouts, in whole or part, where fraud, fake orders, abnormal patterns, policy violations, or legal issues are suspected, until investigation and reconciliation are complete.

7. Disputes

Payout discrepancies must be raised within 15 days of the relevant payout date at support@gulfcod.com with order details. Later claims may not be entertained.
